# Components:
→ Bread
01 - 1 pound pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
→ Filling
02 - 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
03 - 2 medium jalapeños, seeded and finely diced
04 - 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
05 - 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
06 - 1 tablespoon lime juice
07 - 1 tablespoon honey
08 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
09 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
10 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
11 - 1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
→ Topping
12 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
13 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch round baking dish or cast iron skillet.
02 - In a medium bowl, combine cranberries, jalapeños, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, honey, and salt. Stir well and let sit for 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
03 - In a separate bowl, blend softened cream cheese until smooth. Gently fold in half of the mozzarella and white cheddar cheeses.
04 - On a lightly floured surface, roll out pizza dough to a 12x8-inch rectangle. Cut into 24 squares.
05 - Place about 1 teaspoon of cream cheese mixture and a spoonful of cranberry-jalapeño salsa into each square. Pinch edges to seal and shape each into a ball.
06 - Place filled dough balls seam side down in the prepared dish. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the top.
07 - Brush with melted butter. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling.
08 - Remove from oven and garnish with parsley if desired. Serve warm with extra cranberry-jalapeño salsa on the side.
