02 - 120 milliliters sour cream
03 - 120 milliliters salsa (mild or spicy)
04 - 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
06 - Salt and pepper, to taste
→ Spiderweb Topping
07 - 60 milliliters sour cream (for piping)
08 - 15 milliliters milk (to thin, if needed)
→ Spider Garnish
09 - 8 large black olives, whole and pitted
10 - 8 large black olives, sliced into thin rings
→ Dippers and Sides
11 - 120 grams baby carrots
12 - 120 grams cucumber slices
13 - 120 grams bell pepper strips
14 - 1 cup tortilla chips
# Directions:
01 - In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, salsa, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir thoroughly until smooth and well blended.
02 - Evenly spread the dip mixture onto a large round serving platter, creating a flat and uniform layer.
03 - Spoon the sour cream intended for piping into a piping bag or small zip-top bag. Snip a small corner to pipe concentric circles over the dip’s surface.
04 - Using a toothpick or skewer, gently drag lines from the center outward through the concentric circles to form a spiderweb effect.
05 - Place whole black olives at designated points on the web to serve as spider bodies. Arrange thin slices of black olives around each whole olive to represent eight legs per spider.
06 - Place baby carrots, cucumber slices, bell pepper strips, and tortilla chips around the platter to provide a variety of dippers.
07 - Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
