01 - 8 small corn tortillas
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil or cooking spray
03 - ½ teaspoon sea salt
04 - ½ teaspoon chili powder (optional)
→ Homemade Salsa
05 - 4 medium ripe tomatoes, diced
06 - ½ small red onion, finely chopped
07 - 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (optional)
08 - 1 clove garlic, minced
09 - ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
10 - Juice of 1 lime
11 - ½ teaspoon salt
12 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper
# Directions:
01 - Set the air fryer to 350°F and allow it to reach temperature.
02 - Cut each corn tortilla into 6 to 8 triangular wedges.
03 - Lightly brush or spray the tortilla wedges with olive oil on both sides. Sprinkle evenly with sea salt and chili powder if desired.
04 - Place tortilla wedges in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. If necessary, cook in batches to avoid overcrowding.
05 - Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chips are golden brown and crisp. Remove and cool on a wire rack.
06 - In a mixing bowl, stir together diced tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
07 - Allow the salsa to sit for 5 to 10 minutes to develop the flavors.
08 - Present the crispy tortilla chips alongside the fresh salsa.
